The Older Driver Task Team is part of the Georgia 55+ Driver Safety Program. The Task Team goal
is to reduce older driver injuries and fatalities through safer roadways, education, and training, and
improved mobility options among drivers ages 55-to-64 and 65+ years. The 55+ Driver Safety Task
Team utilizes a public health approach to develop collaborative relationships and processes to
determine appropriate educational, environmental, and policy interventions for health and safety
professionals, as well as the public.
